The Texas Hold'em Equity Calculator is a free, fast, browser-based tool that tells you each player's chance of winning a hand of Texas Hold'em poker. Deal out the players' hole cards and the community board, and the calculator instantly reports everyone's win, tie, and equity percentages — plus a breakdown of the hand types each player is likely to make and the exact outs that would put a player in the lead.
How it works
Everything runs locally in your browser — no data leaves your device. We use a hybrid equity engine for both speed and accuracy:
- Exact enumeration — once the flop is out, the calculator evaluates every remaining run-out of the board, so the result is mathematically exact, not an estimate.
- Monte Carlo simulation — for larger situations (typically pre-flop), the engine runs up to a million random run-outs. This is accurate to well under a tenth of a percent.
The tool always tells you which method produced the current result, so you know exactly how the numbers were generated.
Who it's for
Whether you're learning the game, reviewing hands after a session, or just curious how a matchup like A♠A♥ vs. K♣K♦ actually plays out, the calculator is built to make poker math approachable.
