These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Texas Hold'em Equity Calculator website (the “Site”), operated by JeJiEgypt (“we”, “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. The service
The Site is a free, browser-based tool that calculates Texas Hold'em poker hand equities (win, tie, and odds percentages) for educational and informational purposes. All calculations run locally in your browser.
2. Educational use only — no gambling
The Site is intended solely as a mathematical and educational tool. It does not offer, facilitate, or promote real-money gambling, betting, or wagering of any kind, and no money can be won or lost through the Site. You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you, including any laws regarding gambling in your jurisdiction.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems;
- copy, scrape, or redistribute the Site in a way that infringes our rights or those of others;
- interfere with or circumvent any security features of the Site.
4. Intellectual property
The Site, including its design, text, and software, is owned by JeJiEgypt and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The underlying source code may be subject to a separate open-source license; where such a license applies, its terms govern your use of the code.
5. Advertising
The Site does not currently display advertising. We may introduce ads from third-party advertising providers in the future. If we do, your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser; we are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the products and services they promote. 6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that the equity calculations, odds, or other outputs are error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. You use the Site and rely on its results at your own risk.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JeJiEgypt and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site — including any reliance on its calculations.
8. Changes to the Site and Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; when we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of- law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to the Site or these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction where the operator is located, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law that applies to you as a consumer.
